ABOUT US
Mission Shorts is the outreach arm of Freedom Church. It was birthed out of fervent prayer to God for a reset. God’s mission is still the same, “Go and make disciples”. Mission Shorts is an answer to prayer for churches who desire to be obedient to this call and impact lostness in Greenville, North Carolina and surrounding areas.

A Proven Recipe for Missional Success No Matter the Context
We’re creating an environment where the gospel is taught through modeling, teaching, and applying it in real-time, in-community so it is experienced and owned by the learner, and learners grow into spiritual leaders and trainers of others in the community.

Establish relationships in the community by participating in community activities and patronizing community businesses and establishments

Intentionally come in contact with those who have not encountered the love of Christ or heard the Gospel.

Learn how to apply gospel principals to all you do as you do life in the community with the people of the community

Explicitly train trainers how to apply what’s learned to real-life experiences, so the Gospel becomes active and the go-to method of operation

Equip those people in the community who have a burden to train others, to be fully devoted followers of Christ.
Come Along for the Ride
We meet people where they are rather than bringing them to where we are. Our center of operation is a retrofitted, Class A mobile home which can accommodate small groups, Bible Studies, children’s ministry while parents attend Bible study, and informal individual ministry as it arises.
